Filmed over 10 months, "Simply Am Dram" is a 6 part series that follows a number of amateur drama groups in their attempt to qualify for the 2012 All Ireland Finals. From the casting sessions to the crowning of the eventual champions, the series is a behind-the-scenes look at the commitment and dedication of those involved in a movement that is amateur only in name. This is pride of the parish stuff. See the cheers, jeers and rivalry as the members of the various groups sweat it out with a community's expectations riding on them. Featuring The Nenagh Players, Kilmeen DG, Bradán Players, Brideview DG, Prosperous DS, Ballyshannon DG and Corn Mill Theatre Group.
